Reboot, by Amy Tintera. He put effort into everything after getting used to it. Besides the confusing plot, this had the potential to be a great sci-fi dystopian novel, but nope. The love-interest, Callum was pretty much an average human guy, full of moral speeches and “uplifting” talks. I don’t know how Rebel is and if it is better or not, but I’ll find out soon.
When Callum falls short of Reboot standards, Wren is told to eliminate him.

It was action packed, original the rebooting and stuffenjoyable and fast paced. And there was no world-building. Why does this virus make people reboot?
Gruesome and exhilarating, Tintera shows us just how much dystopia or post-apocalyptic can expand to and adore. Callum did grow stronger and was not only able to build a relationship with Wren, but to build himself up. It has tinntera a while since a book has hooked me in so easily and this book definitely exceeded my expectations.
There is no depth, no adrenaline and no thrill. She was short and despite her height, she can do so much more than tall people and is able to do other things tall people are even afraid to do. Return to Book Page. But I do think that there is such thing as the glorification of violence.
He shows no interest in becoming who they want him to become and even though he was glad Wren picked him as her newbie to train, he regrets it and wishes he could move on to someone else.
Reeboot did it come from? Callum stood at the top of the stairs and waited, holding the door open for me. Fun, entertaining, quick read! Wren helps with the new recruits and only trains the higher ranking new reboots.
I didn’t feel connected enough to any of the characters as I’m always told what they kept on doing every fricking second. Besides the confusing plot, this had the potential to be a great sci-fi dystopian novel, but nope.

When she would or did, her mind would go back to where it was and she was able to focus again and that was something else I liked about her.
Reboot : Amy Tintera :
It was imposing to learn about what makes someone a Reboot, they are people who died then came back to life- after a certain span of time- then are barcoded by the time they took to come back to life, the longer they took to relive, the less human in terms of emotions, physicality and spirituality. Every Reboot in the shuttle stared at me. It took awhile for this, the backbone and the background to be given.
But then out of nowhere, Wren and Callum start making out halfway through the book … and from then on out it’s pretty much just one big kiss-fest. She was always up for a mission and never failed to accomplish them. My eyes shifted back to his face to see a smile spreading across his lips. Los personajes son geniales. To save Callum, Wren will have to risk it all.
But I didn’t really like all the details. Overall, this was a really fun and incredibly entertaining read. As Wren tries to teach Callum how to be a soldier, his hopeful smile works its way past her defenses. Clearly, this author and I get along very well and I will continue to devour her books! Humans are afraid to them because, of not their physical appearance, but their inhumane acts — they kill.
When she would sit down and eat, she would make sure to not talk and enjoy her food, unless Callum sat next to her and decided to open his annoying mouth and talk. This book tells you what it is from the get go and does the whole hiding in plain sight thing. What does she do? The rest of the book is comprised of a halfhearted plot about escaping the HARC project and involves a mysterious experiment being performed on the weaker Reboots.
What kind of virus is it? He’s 17 like Wren, but isn’t exactly like Wren. When Callum shows up, he is her exact opposite, physically weak and emotional after being only 22 minutes dead and with most of his humanity preserved. Wren would wax poetic at random times about the architecture of the building, the origins of the KDH virus, how Rebooting actually workedand so on.
